Thought I'd give you a mini tour of our garden.
We are loving that garden as it is fully established, has two levels with a little dip that Will lives zooming his bikes down and we inherited the biggest trampoline in the Southern Hemisphere!
There are lots of Camellias, Gardenias, a beautiful Boganvillea growing over the courtyard wall and roses which aren't flowering at the moment so will be a nice surprise when they bloom.
Hope you like the little tour (I have to blog on my ph or iPad as Susy has my laptop while she's looking after MSP) so I can only post five photos per post :)
Have a great day everyone!

Will has a question...
William has a question for people who live in Brisbane.
We have a Lavosh biscuit tin which has a photo of Storey Bridge on the sides and Will asked me if trains go across the bridge (like our Harbour Bridge here in Sydney).
I said I didn't know but why don't we ask Mummy's blogging friends to see if anyone can answer the question.
So if someone could answer Wills question or tell him some more facts about Storey Bridge that would be great!
Thanks!
Janette & Will xx
P.S. the faces he is pulling in the second two pics are his Gruffalo face :)

Hootabelle cupcake
My dad came over yesterday after work to help fix things (he can fix anything... No seriously!).
Anyway he came in with something wrapped in a serviette and handed to Will saying 'Here is something special that no other kid in the world has!'
Dad works at ABC as the Audio Director and he works on Giggle and Hoot amongst other shows.
They had a crew party yesterday so he brought one of the specially made cupcakes home for Will.
He loved it and I've never seen him take so long to eat a cupcake before.
Watching ABC2 in the evening (still holding his cupcake) we heard him yelling 'Same! same as mine!' as he saw Hootabelle on tv.
So sweet!

Press: Country Style magazine June 2012
Very excited to have our Bedtime Bus Roll Poster featured in the latest issue of Country Style Magazine!
My fantastic sister in law Sue who is looking after MSP while I take 'maternity leave' organized the Bus Roll Poster to be sent in for the shoot, literally the day I had Lachie.
I think this is now my favourite spread to have had our work in, love the old pedal style car!
Have a great day everyone and thank you for your comments on the floors and advice on the curtains yesterday.

We're in! Floors before and after and curtain help
We're in... Ah (sigh of relief)! The move was not without it's dramas that's for sure!
The removalists were meant to b at our old house btw 9-10am and I had the cleaners coming at 12.30.... What time do you think the removalists got there...? 4pm!
So they packed up the truck but by the time they'd finished it was dark and with our narrow tricky driveway we thought it best not to continue till morning.
So Dale and Sust came to the rescue and we stayed at their house.
In the middle of all of this Lachie had developed a cold poor little darling. He still has it! :( so I was exhausted from feeding so often (cause he couldn't breath through his nose) a d from packing.
Anyway the truck came back the next day and by 2pm they'd left.
We had help from so many people it was amazing but Mum and Dad have been so amazing helping every day with everything! We r really blessed!
The move caused a few fatalities such as our fridge, the dryer isn't working properly now, the fence between ourselves and our new Neighbour was clipped by the removalists.
Anyway we are in and just living the house!
Here is a before and after of the floors.
And what do you think of the curtains? They are obviously custom made but the pattern is not to my taste. But I don't want to just rush out and replace them if they could work.
What curtains would you do there??? I'd love your opinion!
Thanks,
Janette xx

Moving tomorrow!
Tomorrow is the big day...
Moving Day!!!
Nearly everything is packed... Nearly...
We have boxes stacked to the roof in the dining room and in the nursery - lucky that Lachie sleeps in our room or we would have lost him days ago ;)
The truck is coming at 7am tomorrow.
Let's hope it all goes smoothly - the new house has a steep narrow driveway.
Also I'm a bit worried about Minky... I hope he'll adjust to his new environment and doesn't try to go back home or anything.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Press: Little One Baby Magazine issue 8
I think Little One Baby magazine is the most gorgeous baby/children publication at the moment.
And so I was stoked to have had my work featured in its lovely pages again.
My World Map print and Our Little Man print can be seen in Belinda's son Charlie's amazing nursery. Check out www.nestdesignstudio.blogspot.com for more of Bel's gorgeous work. (How cute is Charlie!)
Then I was lucky enough that two of my stockists submitted my prints.
The We Loved You print was featured through my lovely stockist www.designchild.com.au
And the Morning Bus Roll Poster and Apple of Our Eye print was featured through the lovely Kirsty at www.denimbaby.com.au
Have a lovely day everyone,

It's now officially ours!
On Monday we settled on our sale and purchase!
We are now living around boxes stacked right up the walls as we move on Saturday.
And here are some pics of our new place. The carpet is up now (which you can see in the first pic) and the floor guys are busy taking out the staples, sanding today then staining tomorrow, then the two coats of water based urethane after that.
When the carpet came up we discovered a big square of Masonite in the dining room. It looks like there used to be a stair case to the down stairs! So the floor guys are sourcing some matching floor boards and patching it up... Hope it will look ok.
We are going to have to camp out down stairs on sat, sun and half of Monday while the floors upstairs dry... Going to be fun with with four of us all on our mattresses on the floor together... Well Lachie will be in the bassinet so he won't know the difference.
Exciting times! Just can't wait to get in there!

Lonny is out now!
Here are my favourite images from the latest issue.
You like? I'm really into teal at the moment and I'm trying to decide if I'm brave enough to incorporate it into our new house.
What do you think? Do you like these splashes of teal about the place at the moment?
